Launched on 1 March 2024, FutureNow Green News (FNGN) is published by AGOG Live Pty Ltd Australia as an independent digital business media, events, and affiliated services marketing agency.
FNGN is in direct response to the Australian Government’s Nicholas Moore Report (SEAES2040) Australia’s Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040 with recommendations to raise bilateral Regional Literacy between our Australia-Asia-Pacific neighbours.
As a unique B2B platform – and for the curious public – FNGN exclusively focuses on environmental business, innovations, investments, policies, and culture in Australia, Asia, and the Pacific regions. Our mission is to grow green and blue economy trading partnerships, reduce climate risks, and promote investments and innovations. Additionally, we are committed to advancing people-to-people relationships through business live events, webinars, Green Business-Match Asia Trade Tours and the ESG Future Foundations Forum To Build a Better Tomorrow.

Ani Allbutt founded FNGN in 2024, drawing on 25+ years living and working across Japan, China, Hong Kong and key Asia-Pacific markets. Through her Hong Kong-based ANI-IMC-PR (founded 2010), she led integrated media, branding and communications campaigns and business development – and established 4 international market-entry start-ups / expansions into China for their global clients of Siemens, Intel, Lend Lease, ANZ Bank and the Queensland Government, 5-star Hotel Groups, and Luxury Brands. She also directed large-scale expos and conferences across China, Macau and Hong Kong including the launch of Design Week Shanghai – and was Creative Director for 5 star Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto collaterals, print budget and production.
A recognised cross-cultural business connector, Ani has served on four executive management committees including JOYCE Hong Kong, GHC Asia PR HK/China, and M.Moser Associates China — and held community leadership roles with AustCham Shanghai and Melbourne’s Climate Network Founding Advisory Committee.

Prue Gallaghar GUEST EDITOR, WRITER, FNGN MEDIA + COMMs TRAINER
Prue brings sharp insight and a dose of wit as a public relations/communications for 30+ years’ in Australia – also based in London, and New Zealand. As an account executive in public relations consultancies and as a Press Officer for a high-profile government organisation (The Design Council of Great Britain); she was aslo an internal communications manager with IBM, and worked in-house doing media and trade relations for Logica UK – and for organisation of large-scale awards schemes and ceremonies that involved royalty, the Prime Minister’s office, and captains of industry. Recently, Prue completed a ‘line-by-line’ edit of a book which is expected to be the basis of a Netflix series.
Whether she is writing IPO documentation, corporate profiles, media releases, or developing employee engagement strategies, and hands-on Media Trainer, the starting point is always the same: “what do we want the audience to know, feel, and do?”.

Over 15 years, Ed has taken innovations from the laboratory to large-scale manufacturing (Aquion Energy’s sodium-ion batteries), launched products that defined markets (AGL Energy’s home battery program), established safety standards that became national regulations (Australia’s lithium-ion battery protocols), and built infrastructure networks at a commercial scale (Evie Networks’ DC fast-charging rollout—Australia’s largest).
Engineering Educated at Carnegie Mellon USA, Politecnico di Torino, Italy, and University of Sheffield UK, Ed now runs Second Mouse, a boutique consultancy that helps corporates and startups navigate the gap between “promising technology” and “bankable business”. Ed is the co-founder of EV MEETUPS events organised in Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney for the Electric Vehicle industry and government policy.

Roy Palmer
CEO at Seafood Consumer Association Ltd focussing on promoting the significance of seafood in enhancing human well-being. By leveraging scientific research, the aim is to provide consumers with factual information that empowers their choices. Roy has attained a 45+ year legacy as an expert in the Seafood Industry in Australia, Asia and Europe and is an in-demand expert speaker at international conferences.
